SUGA – Megan Thee Stallion Review
This album is:
For the girl who knows she looks good, loves luxury, but will still cut you.
Sounds:
Like Dusse in a Birkin Bag filled with money and fenty beauty.
Stand out tracks:
“Savage” Incredibly aggresive and full of confidence. Megan refers to herself as “the hood Mona Lisa” & “classy, bougie, ratchet”.
“Captain Hook” – A possible song of the summer. Raunchy and would probably be best sung at the top of your lungs after too many shots. Captain hook is NOT a Peter Pan reference TRUST ME! 🍆
Rate: 8/10
My mind might change over more listens. I wish the same energy in the first 2 songs was mirrored in the last. Overall she delivers a solid body of work with memorable bars and hooks. Solid beat choices for the most part. Some songs like. “Crying in the car” and “Stop playing” I could’ve done without. I would’ve really preferred a more aggressive finish.
Listen:
After drinking too much Dusse, on your way to brunch with the girls, or on the way to the club.
